Federated Data Analysis Training School & Hackathon

We are pleased to announce that our training is back! This year, we continue with an even stronger focus on in-depth, hands-on learning through the Federated Data Analysis Training School & Hackathon, taking place in Cyprus from 11–14 May 2026.

This training school is open to all and is organized in collaboration with HemaFAIR. It will be led by experts at the forefront of FAIR data and federated analysis.

Training Topics

Participants will gain practical experience in:

• Introduction to federated analysis and federated learning

• Federated analysis frameworks

• FAIR data principles, data standardization, and best practices

• Hands-on data analysis using common data models

• Federated querying and data depositing

• Ethical and legal aspects, including privacy, data governance, and responsible data use

Who Should Apply?

The training is open to researchers, data scientists, and professionals interested in federated data analysis and FAIR data practices. Applicants are expected to have relevant background knowledge to fully benefit from the programme.

Participants may choose to become members of HELIOS if they wish to be eligible for reimbursement through the network.
