We are delighted to share that HELIOS Working Group 4 (WG4) has published a new article in Blood & Global Health titled “Mapping Expertise and Educational Needs for Hemoglobinopathies: Insights from HELIOS COST Action Healthcare Professionals.” This study provides the first multicentre survey-based assessment of clinical expertise and education priorities among health professionals involved in hemoglobinopathy care. The work identifies key gaps in training, highlights areas requiring urgent attention, and outlines priorities to support capacity building and harmonised care delivery across centres.
