As HELIOS moves into the second half of the project, we are pleased to announce the opening of several leadership and coordination positions within the HELIOS Leadership and Core Group. These roles are central to advancing our mission of fostering collaboration, scientific excellence, and meaningful engagement across the HELIOS community.
The available positions offer a valuable opportunity to become more actively involved in international research collaboration, contribute to and lead scientific publications, participate in future grant proposals, and gain hands-on experience in coordinating research, clinical, and training activities at a multinational level. They also provide a platform to help shape future priorities in hemoglobinopathy research, data sharing, and patient-centred care across the HELIOS network.
All members of the HELIOS community are warmly invited to express their interest. Early-career researchers and innovators are particularly encouraged to apply, while senior colleagues are also very welcome to contribute their expertise and mentorship. Further practical details on the available roles and the expression of interest process can be found here: https://0lyz0gsa.forms.app/untitled-form
Please submit your expression of interest by January 11th. For any questions or clarifications, do not hesitate to get in touch.
We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the colleagues who have served in the HELIOS Leadership and Core Group and are now stepping down. Their dedication, vision, and commitment have been instrumental in shaping HELIOS activities and building a strong foundation for the next phase of our work.
